Your Role

We are seeking a Global Sea Logistics Reefer Trade Manager for Perishables, based in Bremen, Germany. Your main responsibilities will involve pricing and procuring Sea Logistics solutions for our Perishables customer portfolio. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Reefer Trade team, Kühne+Nagel stations, customers, and ocean carriers. Ideally, you have experience in Reefer ocean shipping, pricing, and thrive in an international environment, as you’ll play a key role in supporting business growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Support Kühne+Nagel Reefer Growth ambitions by engaging with the business
• Execute carrier strategy in alignment with Global Reefer Trade
• Entry point to support Kühne+Nagel Branches with operational issues that cannot be solved locally. Supporting the Kühne+Nagel Branches with carrier options and allocation
• Preparation / participation in carrier negotiations as well as monitoring the agreed outcomes
• Maintenance of Kühne+Nagel SeaRates
• Tender preparation, analysis and execution.
• Allocation and contract administration
• Track the carrier target versus performance and align on corrective actions
• Market analysis and statistics
• Maintenance of Trade Information through the different Kühne+Nagel channels (Eg.: myKN and SeaExplorer)

Your Skills and Experiences

• Seafreight Reefer experience
• Academic degree in Business Administration with focus on logistics or equivalent education is an advantage
• Operational / Commercial background
• Willingness to learn and develop yourself
• Negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of MS excel and powerpoint
• Flexibility for business trips (national and international)
• Language skills: Proficiency in English is a must, Further languages are an advantage
